• Solid foundation: client relationships, financial stability, and market leadershipResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Under general supervision, performs routine duties.
  • Displays knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications.
  • Displays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work.
  • Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design.
  • Performs quantity surveys for tracking and reporting.
  • May provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
    • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred Qualifications:
      • Water/Wastewater project experience
      • Heavy civil construction experience
      • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite
      • Strong problem-solving skills and consistent attention to detail
      • Ability to manage changing deadlines and work well under pressure for multiple team leaders
      • Work independently and effectively to prioritize multiple tasks
      • Highly organized with excellent time management skills
      • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skillsAdditional Information:

        • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.The salary range for this position is between $125,000 - $135,000 per year depending on experience and/or education.Shimmick's comprehensive benefits plan includes medical - including a NO-COST option, dental, and vision coverage; as well as options to participate in an FSA or HSA. The Company also provides employer paid STD, LTD, basic life and AD&D, and an Employee Assistance Program.
