Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Security Response Engineer to enhance its security posture through threat detection and incident response.



Key Responsibilities

Proactively monitor and respond to security alerts and events from various sources
Conduct in-depth analysis of security incidents to determine root causes and recommend mitigation strategies
Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives


Required Qualifications

Relevant educational degree in Information Security, Information Assurance, or Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience (3-5 years)
Three or more years of technical experience in large enterprise incident response and/or threat hunting
Proficiency with security technologies, including SIEM, EDR, and Cloud Security systems
Strong understanding of cyber threats, attack techniques, and incident response methodologies
U.S. citizenship is required to comply with federal government requirements
