Job Title:Senior Compliance Officer - Vendor
ManagementLocation:CA - IrvineWhat you'll do:The Senior Compliance
Officer will report to the Compliance Manager, assisting in and
supporting the development and administration of Compliance Program
ManagementThe primary responsibilities for this position relate to
the Bank's third-party (vendor) risk compliance program and the
administration of the compliance risk assessments on new and
existing vendors.. This Senior Compliance Officer collaborates with
the first and second line of defense departments to support
adherence to regulatory commitments.What we are looking for:
Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on state and
federal compliance laws relating to consumer regulations as they
relate to third party relationships
- Stay current with industry best practices and guidance relating
to third party relationship management
- Maintain proactive and effective relationships with the TPRM
Team and the Compliance SMESs to support the Program
build-out.
- Facilitate third party risk assessments to Corporate Compliance
for reviewing any and all documents provided by the third parties
to demonstrate their controls and processes.What you Need to have:
- 3+ years of Compliance Program Management compliance, general
compliance, third-party (vendor) risk compliance, risk management,
and/or audit experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field OR high school diploma
and 3+ additional years of relevant experience.
- Understanding of compliance risk management practices and
methodologies, including risk assessment and control
assessments.
- Practical working knowledge of financial services compliance
and operations, including the related rules and regulations of the
financial services industry.
- Strong curiosity and the ability to dig into many document
types (contracts, policies, procedures, trainings, SOWs, etc.) to
discover relevant information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred
Qualifications:
- Understanding of applicable federal, state banking and privacy
laws and regulations with the ability to promptly research
regulatory requirements.
- Project management exposure and ability to effectively manage
various deadlines and moving pieces, while communicating these
effectively to stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of compliance risk management principles
and role in advising and providing guidance on bank laws, rules and
regulations, and related policies and procedures
- Demonstrated skill in effectively communicating with all levels
of management with a focus on collaboration and relationship
management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team
environment.
- High ethical standards, strong critical thinking, detective,
analytical, and problem-solving skills.Compensation: Salary range
for new hires is generally $92,450.00 - $108,765.00 for Irvine, CA.

for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific
job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual
