  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced NICU nurse for a travel contract.
  • The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 full years of experience
    • Active CA License
    • Experience with drips: dopamine, dobutamine, versed, fentanyl
    • 3 years of NICU experience
    • Experience in a level 3 NICU
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hour shifts starting at 7-7:30
      • Self-scheduling allowed
      • Every other weekend required
      • 1 major and 1 minor holiday required
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 1 day on the unit with a preceptor
        • 6 hours in the nursery
        • 6 hours on pediatrics
        • First to float to the Nursery and pediatrics (sister unit)
          • Additional Details
          • BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS required
          • Start Date: 2/24 or 3/3 ONLY
          • Unit: NICU
          • Level of NICU: Level III
          • # Beds: 26 beds
          • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2, 1:1
          • Charge covers both NICU and peds - free of assignment
