Job Description:

Apex manufactures satellite buses at scale using a combination of software, vertical integration, and hardware designed for manufacturing. Our spacecraft enable various applications from earth observation to communications and more.We are seeking a Material Planner to work within the Supply Chain Team and Production Control at the Apex Production facility. The main responsibilities include forecasting delivery dates and quantity requirements, understanding supply base and inventory risks, and ensuring build readiness.Responsibilities:

• Ownership and demand planning for on-time delivery of raw materials and finished goods
• Work closely with the purchasing and supply chain team for accurate forecasts and timely orders
• Report to leadership on possible material shortages
• Proactively solve problems and perform root cause analysis with vendors
• Develop, implement, and maintain material planning best practices within systems like MRP
• Order creation and placement based on production schedules
• Scenario planning for different build variations
• Implement continuous improvement mindsetRequirements:
  • U.S. Person status required for access to export-controlled data
  • 2+ years in a relevant fast-paced industry with a track record of success and on-time delivery
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
